Day trip to Jerusalem

8.30-9.00am Transfer from Jordan from King Hussein Bridge- Drive through the Judean desert to Jerusalem.  Visit the Mount of Olives with its panoramic view of Jerusalem.  Drive through the holy basin to the Old City.  Walk the souks of the Old City, visiting the Muslim, Jewish and Christian Quarters – Western wall, vis Del a Rosa and Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Lunch

Drive through West Jerusalem.  See the government center and Knesset (Israeli parliament) Visit Palestinian and Jewish neighborhoods, the Separation Wall and the segregated roads.  Jerusalem today is surrounded on 3 sides by the 8-meter (25ft concrete barrier.  Learn about its implications and the possibilities for peace.

Evening arrival back to King Hussein Bridge for return transfer to Jordan
